Stone Barn Wedding Photography and Videography
Summer is the perfect time to gather your friends and family for a countryside wedding in the United Kingdom. Veronique and Matthew shared this brilliant vision for their ceremony, selecting the stunning Stone Barn in the Cotswold district as their wedding venue. It fulfilled their dream of a relaxed yet sophisticated setting. It also offered their guests a clear snapshot of England’s most beautiful region.
The morning began with lighthearted and easy undertones, with the bride and groom preparing to share enjoyable moments with their wedding parties. Veronique discovered an exquisite and unique wedding dress in Union Bridal back home in Vancouver, Canada. The bohemian gown, designed by Rue De Seine, featured thoughtful detailing, such as flowers and netting. Bridesmaids had their choice of dresses leading up to the special day, handpicking nude or light pink hues. Tabitha James Kraan elevated the looks with her lovely hair styling, and Claire Bryce provided pretty, natural makeup.
The groom had a little more liberty with time, chatting with his groomsmen and playing a short round of frisbee. Yet, Matthew certainly did his due diligence to prepare and arrange his debonair, navy Reiss suit, and Mrs. Bow light pink bow tie. Groomsmen followed with similar dapper dress, wearing navy blue suits, Mrs. Bow light pink ties, and Liberty pink socks. Together, the coordinated wedding parties and soon-to-be newlyweds looked classic and elegant.
The anticipated ceremony soon began – a Stone Barn wedding that will linger forever in everyone’s hearts and minds. It was immediately apparent how perfect the wedding venue was for Veronique and Matthew. The ample indoor space accommodated all of their guests, giving them plenty of time to admire the charming stone walls, candle-lit interior, magical fairy lights, gorgeous greenery, and lush flowers supplied by Go Wild Flowers. The couple exchanged original vows while their loved ones shared in these emotional and incredibly joyful moments.
Newlyweds walked blissfully from the Stone Barn, out from celebratory drinks on the lawns. Guests milled around, captivated by the rustic beauty of the barn and surrounding fields. Of course, Veronique and Matthew needed to take advantage of the spectacular landscapes for photographs. I had the pleasure of capturing candid moments between the couple and meaningful poses that showcase their adoration for each other and their momentous day.
The Stone Barn wedding was only just starting, with the reception kicking off inside the dining area of the same building. Long tables with flowers and candles, twinkling lights, and delicate bunting strung above provided a warm atmosphere. Everyone indulged in a delicious feast prepared in the barn’s open kitchen and indoor barbecues. A beautiful three-layer wedding cake, by Hannah Hickman, awaited its first slice on a nearby table. While everyone ate and drank to their heart’s content, the whole space erupted with stories and toasts to the newlyweds.
To top the day off, the Tony Diavolo Band started playing their set, the dance floor opened up, and roaring fires set the tone for elation and exuberance. Veronique, Matthew, and their guests thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the night. And, if they ever want to relive their wedding and remember all the touching moments, they can simply look upon all the photographs and videos taken throughout the day.
