Hedsor House Wedding photography and film. Jason and Sarah captured our wedding perfectly and we can’t thank them enough. From the outset they were so easy and a pleasure to work with. Jake and I loved that they were a husband a wife team and having a one stop shop for photography and videography was a dream and helped make the planning and actual wedding day move seamlessly. We trusted the instantly and we are so lucky to have such wonderful pictures and videos to look back on.
There were several elements that were important to us. On two separate occasions we had friends recommend this location as they had been to good weddings there previously. We wanted the whole wedding party and immediate families to be able to stay the night.
Due to our wedding being in the winter we really wanted the the inside to be beautiful. The flow of the inside space works really well and it keeps your guests gathered together instead of spread out which we really liked.
The facade and grounds of Hedsor House are breathtaking and really has that wow factor when you drive up the long driveway and see the beautiful setting at the end. We don’t know how we managed it but whenever we went to visit Hedsor it was a crisp, blue sky day and we thought that was a sign.
Also Hedsor was perfectly in the middle of both of our families which we thought was sweet. It is also very easy to get to from London which was very handy for ourselves and lots of our guests.
It took me a while but after visiting several showrooms we finally went to the Suzanne Neville showroom and found the dress! I mixed two dress styles together because I wanted to have a full skirt – when else am I going to have the chance to do that! I loved how timeless the dress looked and in the evening the fabric really picked up the light and it was almost as if the dress was glowing!
We wanted to keep it simple, classic and elegant with a hint of Christmas. The colour scheme was green and white. We decorated using mostly flowers. The florist we used (Seventh Heaven) had lots of lovely candles, lanterns and vase we used in different areas. We also had a large bunch of mistletoe hanging in the centre of the dance floor with fairy lights which was fun.
