Stanlake Park Wedding Testimonial
Jason was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what you want from your day!
On the day itself, Jason’s experience of working at so many weddings came in to be extremely valuable, helping David with his button hole and knowing where to stand at the end of the isle! It was like having another guest!
In terms of the output, we are over the moon with our photos, and in fact we would highly recommend going for a video as well.
Having both from the same person, for us has worked really well, the video really brings the photos to life and both have captured our Stanlake Park Wedding memories of the day so perfectly.
What made you decide on a Stanlake Park Wedding?
From the moment we arrived, we knew a Stanlake Park Wedding was exactly what we had been searching for. Tucked away in the Berkshire countryside, Stanlake Park has such a warm, intimate atmosphere that instantly made us feel relaxed.
The vineyard setting completely sealed the deal, there’s something incredibly special about celebrating your wedding surrounded by rows of vines and rustic winery buildings.
We loved that a Stanlake Park Wedding offers a balance of elegance and character. The vineyard backdrop feels romantic yet understated, and the flexible spaces allow you to shape the day around your own vision. Whether you choose an outdoor ceremony among the vines or a reception inside the charming barn-style spaces, the venue feels both exclusive and welcoming.
Our event décor and florals were beautifully created by Sisters Sarah and Jo from Ever After Weddings, who enhanced the natural charm of Stanlake Park with soft, seasonal arrangements that complemented the vineyard setting perfectly.
Inspiration for your Stanlake Park Wedding
We chose to have a spring Stanlake Park Wedding, hoping the British weather would be kind to us and thankfully, it was. Spring felt like the perfect season for a vineyard wedding, with fresh greenery and softer light creating a romantic atmosphere throughout the day.
Our vision was simple: we wanted our guests to have the best possible time celebrating with us. We kept our Stanlake Park Wedding fairly small and intimate, which allowed us to mix traditional elements with more personal, unconventional choices.
For example, instead of a traditional wedding cake (which neither of us particularly like), we opted for a stacked display from our favourite local supplier, Unholy Donuts. It became such a talking point and felt much more “us.”
For our first dance, we surprised everyone by choosing Drake, probably not the most traditional wedding song, but it perfectly reflected our personalities and set the tone for a relaxed, fun evening at Stanlake Park.
Planning a Stanlake Park Wedding in Just Three Months
One of the biggest challenges of planning our Stanlake Park Wedding was the timeline. We booked the venue and set the date just three months before the big day, which meant relying heavily on our suppliers to bring everything together quickly and seamlessly. Thankfully, they were incredible and exceeded every expectation.
Because of the short timeframe, Chloe chose an ‘off the shelf’ wedding dress from Debbie Rees Bridal in Wokingham. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Debbie altered the gown beautifully and even made subtle design changes to ensure it felt completely personal and perfect for a vineyard wedding at Stanlake Park.
