Villa Aura del Lago Wedding on the beautiful Lake Como
Asif and Sasha’s Villa Aura del Lago wedding was an unforgettable experience. As a destination wedding photographer who has been to Lake Como a number of time, I knew this day would be another great adventure. The breathtaking scenery of Villa Aura del Lago, combined with the beauty of a Jewish wedding, made for an extraordinary event.
When I arrived at the venue, I was immediately struck by the stunning view of Lake Como. The villa was perched edge of the Central Lake along from Bellagio and surrounded by lush greenery and the crystal-clear waters of the lake. The wedding ceremony was set up outside, with the lake as the perfect addition.
Asif and Sasha’s Jewish wedding was a blend of traditional and modern elements. The ceremony was conducted under a Chuppah, with the bride and groom breaking the glass at the end and the signing the Ketubah. The bride and groom were accompanied by their family and friends, who took part in the wedding traditions.
As a wedding photographer and filmmaker, our aim was to capture the essence of the day. I focused on capturing the raw, magical moments between the bride and groom, as well as the guests. I captured candid shots of guests laughing and enjoying themselves, as well as posed group shots that will be cherished forever.
The reception was held in the villa’s elegant dining room, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a stunning view of the lake. The tables were decorated with beautiful floral arrangements and candles, creating a romantic atmosphere.
The food was exquisite. The guests enjoyed the food and wine, toasting to the bride and groom and dancing the night away. The DJ played a mix of traditional Jewish music and modern hits, keeping the party going until the early hours of the morning. Something Lake Como does so well.
As a Lake Como wedding photographer, my style is very relaxed. I aim to capture the moments that the bride and groom will want to remember forever. I understand the importance of capturing not only the party of loved ones but also those raw, magical moments in between, showcasing what weddings and love are all about.
