Kara & Tom’s wedding was a day to remember. They carefully thought out every detail, from the stunning wedding party outfits to the pretty floral arrangements to the at-home tipi wedding reception. As an Arundel wedding photographer, I was truly honoured to capture warmth in every shot of their memorable day. Furthermore, as a wedding guest, I was simply blown away by how all their special touches could light up both the ceremony and reception. Even though it was overcast and raining outside, they created an atmosphere full of sunshine and love.

The bride, groom, and the wedding party had a wonderful time getting ready for the day. They prepared at their family home and farm in the heart of Arundel, England. Kara wore an elegant Anna Georgina gown featuring a deep V-neck and intricate floral bodice. She added on a fairytale-esque Augusta Jones floor-length tulle skirt and full-length veil. Once paired with bush Louboutin heels, Kara was an absolute vision.
Yet, Kara made sure her bridesmaids were equally breathtaking. They wore dust peach and blossom pink bridesmaids dresses from Needle and Thread and silver ASOS heels. However, the flower girls stole the show with their adorable ballerina-inspired outfits. They wore pink tulle skirts, white bodysuits, and flower crowns that made them look like little princesses.
Tom and his groomsmen wore dashing light blue-grey suits from Burton, coral pink ties and pocket squares, and soft beige loafers from Ted Baker. The page boys followed in their footsteps with pale blue trousers from H&M, white collarless shirts from River Island, and pink suspenders. Ultimately, the whole wedding party was perfectly picturesque.
The summer wedding ceremony took place at the Parish Church of St. Nicolas of Arundel. While the church is remarkable, Findon Flowers florists made it even more beautiful with their coral, pink, and blue floral bouquets and arrangements. The bride and groom exchanged their heartfelt vows and gave each other the most exquisite rings. Tom slipped a diamond eternity ring on Kara’s finger, while Tom received a white gold band featuring a wheat pattern (in honour of his farming life). These small touches made the ceremony even more remarkable for the newlyweds and attendees.
The tipi wedding reception back on the family farm was more than enchanting.
Kara and Tom took customising their Surrey and Sussex tipi tent to the next level, going all out with rustic and farmhouse decor and detailing. They added a wooden trough filled with refreshing brews, personalised letter board signs, gorgeous wooden dining tables and chairs, floral arrangements in small rustic bottles, magical overhead fairy lights, and even more…Plus, I could never forget to mention the live music from Steel Drum upon arriving and the delicious full-course menu. It was incredible to take in all these aesthetically-pleasing sights and see how much care the couple put into making sure their guests fully enjoyed themselves.
Despite the occasional rain, the newlyweds and their wedding party were down to take some extraordinary outdoor photographs. I captured emotional and heartfelt moments between Kara and Tom. As the evening progressed, I was also able to capture some truly unforgettable moments of celebration, including joyous dancing to the amazing sounds of Freestyle Funk Collective.
I am delighted that Kara and Tom selected me as their Tipi wedding photographer. I experienced so much love, intimacy, and happiness during their special day – I hope they can look back at their photographs and relive those incredible moments.
