Jason was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what you want from your day! On the day itself, Jason’s experience of working at so many weddings came in to be extremely valuable, helping David with his button hole and knowing where to stand at the end of the isle! It was like having another guest! In terms of the output, we are over the moon with our photos, and in fact we would highly recommend going for a video as well. Having both from the same person, for us has worked really well, the video really brings the photos to life and both have captured our Stanlake Park Wedding memories of the day so perfectly.
What made you decide on a Stanlake Park Wedding?
We fell in love with Stanlake Park as soon as we arrived. It felt intimate and perfect for the day we had envisaged. The fact it is a vineyard, certainly sealed the deal! Our event decor and flowers were the work of Sisters – Sarah + Jo from Ever After Weddings.
Inspiration for your Stanlake Park Wedding?
We decided to go for a Spring wedding, hoping that the British weather would be kind to us (which it was). Our vision for the day was simply to ensure that our guests had the best time in celebrating with us! Our wedding was fairly small and intimate and this gave us flexibility to go for a mix of traditional elements and less traditional…
For instance we chose to have our favourite local doughnut supplier (Unholy Donuts) in a stack instead of the traditional wedding cake (which neither of us actually like!) , We also went for Drake for our first dance which is probably an unusual choice!
We actually took on a bit of a challenge with our wedding as we chose the venue and booked the date for 3 months later so we were reliant on our suppliers to pull out all the stops and they did not disappoint!
This also meant that Chloe had to choose an ‘off the shelf ‘ wedding dress. The dress was from Debbie Rees Bridal in Wokingham and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Debbie altered the dress beautifully and we even made some changes to the design to make it perfect!
