Jason was recommended to us by my sister who had a shoot with him a few years prior, and he was everything we wanted and needed for the day. The style of Jason’s photography was exactly what we were after: warm, subtle, and not too many ‘staged shots. Perfect for a Luxury London wedding. Jason was able to capture every emotion of the day, with zero fuss. He was patient, got on with everyone, blended in, and somehow gave us the best memories we could have wished for. His style is incredible, and I genuinely love every shot. I get a lot of comments about our wedding photos and how unique they are, which is amazing.
What made you decide on an Royal Automobile Club Wedding?
We really wanted to get married in London as we met, live and work here. The Royal Automobile Club has been a place where I have celebrated many special occasions with family over the years, so we felt a connection to the venue. When we decided to get married in winter, it made even more sense to do it at The Club because we knew it would be lit up with Christmas trees and decorations, which felt so magical.
Inspiration for a Luxury London Wedding at The Royal Automobile Club
We wanted an elegant, subtle wedding that would be timeless and classic. I didn’t want some of the traditional ceremonies like first dance and cake cutting, but my husband and parents did, so we ended up doing them! We really wanted a warm, wintery vibe so we chose burgundy, orange and red flowers and bridesmaid dress, and the men had the same colours in their tweed suits. Food was warming and wintery, lamb cutlets and apple pie! We had a snowflake cake, mince pies and cheese, which everyone really enjoyed.
As we were going for a subtle aesthetic, I chose something quite simple and classic by Suzanne Neville, the ‘Coco’ – no lace, frills or a big skirt. I felt so feminine and graceful in the dress, and I was able to dance all night and move around easily; it was perfect.
