EMOTIVE, ROMANTIC, AND TIMELESS

Buckinghamshire Wedding

An intimate Buckinghamshire Wedding with a Rime Arodaky gown and florals to die for. The select number of guests had a day filled with boho vibes and incredible colours.

Jason was the perfect person to capture our Buckinghamshire wedding day. His laid back approach and cool photography style was an ideal match for us and our special day. He and Sarah were such easy company to have around and somehow managed to both join in and capture the fun of the day at the same time! The photos were beyond what we could possibly have dreamt of. Looking back at them has allowed us to relive our special day over and over again.

Covid was not getting in the way of this celebration.

With only three months to go, we relocated our wedding from Lila’s Wood in Tring to my parents gorgeous garden in because covid restrictions meant we were only able to invite 28 guests. Despite the less-than-ideal circumstances, getting married at the house I grew up in felt incredibly special. With the help of a marquee, jaw-dropping flowers and lots of props we turned it into the most beautiful wedding venue. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing!

Rachel and Dan’s Inspiration for a Buckinghamshire Wedding.

We wanted the day to feel really relaxed, but also like a wedding (rather than a garden party!) so we knew we needed to go big on the flowers (Willow and Thyme) and props (The Toast) to transform the garden into our perfect wedding venue. As it was an intimate affair we kept things relaxed with a long banquet-style table, lots of comfy seating areas, games and plenty of delicious food and drink on offer. We are drawn to autumnal colours and we didn’t let the fact it was June put us off having these stunning tones starring in the dresses, suits and florals.

The atmosphere on the day was magical. It was the first time many of us had been able to socialise with a large group since the start of the pandemic, which brought an extra special feeling to the day. Everyone was so happy to be there and to celebrate love. Finishing the day/night with everyone jumping in the swimming pool and having a mini pool party was the perfect end to the the most joyous day.
