Luxury Marquee Wedding Isle of Wight

Annika and Richard’s luxury marquee wedding on the Isle of Wight was nothing short of extraordinary. Hosted at their family home overlooking the water, this elegant marquee wedding in Bembridge perfectly combined coastal beauty, thoughtful styling, and relaxed celebration.

From the breathtaking sea views to the candlelit reception, every detail was curated to create a truly unforgettable Isle of Wight wedding day.

A Stylish Start to a Beautiful Isle of Wight Wedding

The morning began with champagne and laughter as Annika and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. The atmosphere was relaxed, joyful, and filled with anticipation — everything you hope for on your wedding morning.

Annika chose a stunning gown by Rime Arodaky, featuring a low back, delicate lace detailing, and a contemporary side slit. She paired her dress with elegant Clarita heels by Alexandre Birman, keeping her look modern yet timeless. Her natural makeup and effortless hairstyle were finished with Luna Bea floral hairpins and a flowing veil. The bridesmaids complemented the aesthetic perfectly in chic high-neck white jumpsuits — a bold, modern choice for a luxury marquee wedding.

Meanwhile, Richard and his groomsmen enjoyed a laid-back morning by the water with football and beers — the perfect way to begin a coastal wedding celebration. Richard wore a beautifully tailored suit from Hellewells, its tones subtly echoing the surrounding seascape.

A Heartfelt Ceremony at Holy Trinity Church, Bembridge

The ceremony took place at the family church, Holy Trinity Church in Bembridge, one of the most charming ceremony locations for an Isle of Wight wedding.

Guests filled the church with warmth and excitement as Annika made her entrance to the acoustic sounds of “Here Comes the Sun.” The atmosphere was intimate, emotional, and full of joy. The ceremony itself was heartfelt and personal, setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

After the ceremony, we made the most of the incredible weather with a short trip to Bembridge beach. The soft coastal light created the perfect backdrop for relaxed, romantic portraits by the sea — a must when planning a Bembridge wedding.

A Luxury Marquee Wedding Reception at Home

Hosting a marquee wedding at home allows complete creative freedom — and Annika and Richard embraced it fully.

Their reception took place in a stunning Sperry Tent, creating an elegant blank canvas in the family garden. The space was transformed with:

  • Abundant foliage and florals
  • Soft neutral styling
  • Wooden chairs and tables
  • Antique Edison bulb lighting
  • Long-stem candles and delicate stationery

The result was refined yet relaxed — the perfect balance for a luxury marquee wedding on the Isle of Wight.

Guests enjoyed an exceptional wedding breakfast before heartfelt speeches, music, and dancing carried the celebration long into the evening. As darkness fell, the marquee glowed under warm lighting, creating an almost cinematic atmosphere.

Sunset Portraits & Evening Magic

As an Isle of Wight wedding photographer, golden hour along the coast is always something special. We explored the gardens, nearby fields, and the softly lit marquee exterior to capture timeless evening portraits.

The final images feel romantic, natural, and effortless — a true reflection of their day.
