Pylewell Park Weddings are just a dream for us wedding photographers. I had such a great day with Katy and Pete. Their Pylewell wedding was postponed like many others. But it was definitely worth the wait. I cant believe that this venue is just over the water from the isle of wight where I am based. I hope to be coming here for years to come. Pylewell Park Weddings
Katy and Pete loved Pylewell from the second they first arrived, the beautiful long driveway, the stunning views of the Solent and the lovely team. We always knew we wanted an outdoor ceremony and reception and a Pylewell house wedding offered us that with a sea view!
Inspiration for Pylewell House Weddings
There are so many gorgeous inspiration pics online it was so hard to pick just one idea, in the end, I went with all neutrals and thought I can add in a colour at the last minute if I wanted to! We had the bridesmaids and best men in neutrals and then Pete popped in his linen blue suit, I wanted all natural textures to match the relaxed outdoors that Pylewell Park weddings had to. I went for dried flowers so I could keep them after the wedding, and incorporated dried Lunaria from my Granny’s garden.
We made as much as we could ourselves, including invites & other stationary, all the table decorations and floral arrangements as well as the bridesmaid bouquets I made myself, I dried all the confetti from bouquets and flowers from the garden. So many people commented on all the lovely thoughtful touches and it was so nice to see it all come together after years of planning!
Some other personal things we had were afternoon tea with all the cakes made and provided by family friends, our wedding cake baked by a close family friend and Vietnamese silk lanterns brought over by our friends (after we fell in love with Hoi An and its lanterns whilst travelling together!). The dress was actually the easiest part….!
